Who we are
Tandridge Canoe and Kayak Club (TCKC) is a Paddle UK Top Club Gold based in Surrey, just off the M25 (Junction 6). Our aim is simple:
to help young people, families, and adults enjoy canoeing and kayaking in a fun, supportive environment.
Whether you’re brand new to paddlesports or already experienced, you’ll find a warm welcome at TCKC. And above all… we believe kayaking should be fun!
Everyone!
You don’t need any previous experience — if you’ve never sat in a kayak or canoe before, you’re very welcome to come along, watch, or give it a go.
We welcome:
Beginners and improvers
Young people and families
Adults who want to paddle or support junior paddlers
The club currently runs:
4 youth sections (supported by adult helpers)
1 adult section

As a member of at least one club section, you’ll have access to our progressive training programme, designed to help paddlers develop at their own pace.
We run a full, year-round programme, with opportunities to paddle several times a week.
You don’t need to invest in equipment before joining — we have kayaks and canoes available for hire or loan to members.
Our activities range from:
Relaxed, social paddles
Skill development and training
Advanced whitewater kayaking
There’s something for every interest and ability level.
As part of our standard club procedures, all adult coaches and members of Blades Plus are required to complete a DBS (CRB) check, helping us maintain a safe and supportive environment for everyone.
