Set to be a brilliant weekend in South Wales!

River Teifi Llandysul – Introduction and Improvers White Water Weekend.

Date & time: 4th and 5th May 2013

Who for? 

Members of TCKC who want to learn or improve their moving water skills in kayaks and canoes.

Slalom paddlers who want to use Llandysul’s slalom course for training or if you just want to have an enjoyable trip on a beautiful section of river.

Boats can be hired from the club by filling in the Kit Hire section of the application form.

Accommodation and catering:

Llandysul Paddlers Canoe Centre bunk house. Bring your sleeping bag and pillow case.

Food supplied for Saturday and Sunday breakfast and lunch and Saturday evening meal.

If you want to stay Sunday night and go surfing on the Gower on the way home on Monday you will need to pay for the centre directly for the extra night and supply your own food.

How much? 

£38/ person for accommodation and catering, payable with the application.

Kit hire @ £10/person.

Cheques to be made payable to Tandridge Canoe and Kayak Club and sent with the application form.

Wear:

Your normal outdoor paddling kit or if you don’t have this, then: Clothes that are light and warm when wet.

Lots of layers, especially thermals & fleece plus windproof cagoule. Wear old trainers/plimsolls/wetsuit

boots. You can hire kit from the club by filling in the Kit Hire section on the application form.

Note.              

Many pubs and shops in the town within walking distance and a canoeing and outdoor shop on site.
