Hi club members!
Another year seems to have whizzed by at super speed and it’s time once again for the Tandridge Canoe and Kayak Club AGM. This will be held at the Crown Inn in Old Oxted on Friday 1st November. (Further details in the invitation attached.) We would love to see all of you there, along with your families – members or not, so please do come along and support your club!
Importantly, I also wanted to let you know that we have several positions becoming vacant on our club committee, so we are currently seeking nominations for these. Positions include Chair, Treasurer, Canoe Polo Section Leader and Boat Loan Scheme Co-ordinator. If you feel you could help us out in any of these roles and wish to find out more about what’s involved, please feel free to call me or speak to your current section leader. We really are a very friendly and supportive bunch, but without our super volunteers the club would quickly grind to a halt! If you feel that these positions are not for you but you’d like to get involved in another way, there are many other volunteering opportunities available, just ask.
Nominations should be sent to myself no later than one week prior to the AGM please. You can nominate yourself, or anybody else, with their permission!
